  Phil at Hike Pyrenees worked with the Orinda Hiking Club in California to create a bespoke 15 day hiking adventure in northern Spain in mid June, 2015. The entire trip was magnificent, with a variety of hikes encompassing the Basque Coast along the Camino Santiago, hikes in the Navarra highlands, then on to the high Pyrenees in the Valle de Tena and finally the great canyons of Ordesa National Park. We stayed at small, well run, little hotels which were in small towns surrounded by vineyards, farms or high mountains. We also asked Phil to include such non hiking activities such as wine tasting, city walks in San Sebastian and Jaca along with delicious Pintxo's for lunch. And our guides, Javier, Ken and Hannah were superb selecting beautiful routes and tailoring them to the hiking ability for our group of 12. For a hiking group looking for a complete trip including superb hiking, exquisite food, culture, wine and local history, one should definitely contact Phil. We were very impressed with his flexibility to put together a fantastic trip which exceeded our already high expectations.! The Orinda Hiking Club will definitely return again.

  If you are hiking solo or as a group and are looking for an epic adventure with flexibility in hiking levels (offering both challenging and more basic treks) complimented by great accommodations and food, then look no further than Hike Pyrenees. The guides (both Ken and Hannah) were incredible and Phil was fabulous at accommodating last minute logistical needs and challenges. I could not have been more satisfied by the whole experience. Great hikes. Great people. Great food/lodging - a true trifecta!

  Just got back from the "self guided" tour in Valle de Tena - a wonderful experience! We picked Hike Pyrenees merely from their website knowing nothing of the company or the area. We are so glad we did! They are a truly well organized group, responsive and thoughtful to whatever our concerns or needs were. They seem to have set up a great network within this area of the Pyrenees and everyone in the villages with whom we interacted clearly respected the company. We did not have any "glitches" from the moment we were picked up at the airport through the last day. We highly recommend them! (USA and UK visitors)

  We just returned from a 5 day hiking trip with Hike Pyrenees and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in lovely villages, the hiking trails were beautiful and we felt very well advised and taken care of. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to explore the magnificent Sierra De Guara area.
